Good Business Ideas – Why Niche Marketing Is So Important In Business
I have to tell you a story about entrepreneurs and good business ideas. A few weeks back I went to see a potential client that wanted to be “number one in the world in the (blank) industry using the web.” There were 4 executives in the room and one of them was snoozing off during the meeting. He said the “web’ was a problem for the “younger” executives to decide. Ouch!
They had been in business for over 15 years and had a very nice import/export operation. Unfortunately the business model was designed for the “old” economy. They were seeing their earnings deplete fast and could not figure out what to do about it. Somehow, they thought “social media” was the answer to all their problems and figured that by getting into the “social media” bandwagon, all their troubles would go away.
Hold on! I said. Why would you want to compete against mega-(blank) company? They have over 10 years ahead of you. They dominate the web traffic for your (blank) product. You will never be able to compete against them, unless of course, you buy them out. They have positions 1 through 10 on page one of Google pretty much covered. I suggested then, we should do a niche analysis and re-direct the company aggressively towards smaller niches. Then and only then, we should attack the social media channels.
The idea was for the company to control these micro-niches in no time. The move would had reduced cost massively and increased profits by dominating niches the big-boys had missed. Instead of going head-on and challenge the big boys, they could seize this incredible opportunity before someone else figured it out…they never called back again. Last time I checked, they were still struggling with their “Social Media” project.
Being a successful netpreneur is a lot more than just having good business ideas. There is a lot of money to be made on the web, but not on speculative, naïve or risky business ideas. The people who are making a killing in the web are those that dominate micro-niches. They understand their target market better than their target market understands itself. “Big-itis” is an entrepreneur’s recipe for failure. In this new economy, the riches is in the niches.
This means that if you are an entrepreneur, you better start thinking how to position your business in this new economy by dominating smaller niches, not just thinking of “good business ideas”. The old days where you could be everything to everyone are long gone.
Why believe me? It took me over 7 years to understand the web game. I have a 100% virtual business that at one time used to be a brick-and-mortar. I also have over 20 sites that currently are on page one of Google. So as you can see, I have been “around the block” a few times. If you want your business to succeed in this new business environment, you must start by thinking about good business ideas in profitable niches. If you get this right, everything else will fall into place.

One of the hardest things to find on the Internet is a really good network marketing opportunity. There are many opportunities on the Internet that claim to help you and want to make you a lot of money. Most people who are new to the Internet right away get excited and fall for every little thing that many of the opportunities tell them.
It is very important that you understand that not all of these opportunities are telling you the truth. Many people get very discourage because a lot of the opportunities that they encounter just simply take advantage of them. This does not mean that there’s really no good opportunity out there for you to get involved with.

Univera Review – Is Univera a Good Business Opportunity?
If you found this article, you are probably wondering if Univera is a scam or a good business opportunity. I have had many people asking me if they should get involved in Univera. In this Univera review we will have a look at the four pillars of network marketing and discover once and for all if Univera is a good business opportunity for you.
1. Univera Company
Univera is a health and wellness company founded in 1999 by YunHo Lee, a successful Korean businessman. He decided to start this company on a vision to bring the best of nature to the market. Univera was founded after Mr. Lee experienced the benefits of the Aloe Vera while he was not seeing any results with conventional medicine. Univera was developed as part of the ECONET, an ECOlogical and ECOnomic global NETwork of companies. It is a network marketing company with many products and millions of distributors worldwide.
2. Univera Products
The goal of ECONET was to develop products using pharmaceutical expertise to the world of natural products. Univera and Unigen (its Research and Development entity), created many products protected by more than 160 patents. The products revolve around four areas of helping the customer’s body: Nourish, Restore, Fortify and Vitalize. Some of the most noticeable products include Ageless Xtra, Essentials, Meta Green, Meta Berry or The Inthinity System.
3. Univera Business and Compensation Plan
As many people are looking to become healthier, starting a home based business in the health and wellness family is a good idea. For a small $40, there are 7 ways to make money with the Univera Business Opportunity: Retail Commissions, Unilevel Pay, Generation Pay, Xcelerate Your Drive, Blue Diamond Bonus, Incentives and Trips, Promotional Pay. The Univera compensation plan is built around a 4 level deep unilevel plan. A nice feature of the plan is the fact that new distributors will earn a higher percentage of commissions. A new distributor will be paid 15% on the first level and 5% on his downline. This is not bad and Univera is a great business opportunity overall.
4. Univera Sponsor Distributor
Now that we have seen that Univera is a good business by itself and that the Univera products are good, there is one more important point to look at. It is your potential upline sponsor. And this is critical. As in all network marketing companies, your business will grow when you find people to sponsor and help them do the same. To explode your business you must make sure that you find a sponsor that will teach you modern methods to find prospects using the Internet and not those old school methods of bugging friends and family.
The Ethical Aspects of Business Marketing
With so many different businesses and emails coming witnessed by anybody on the internet today, it is not easy to know who to trust or which is a scam. Many people don’t follow the important aspect of ethical business online due to the anonymity of the internet and lack of punishment. So as a consumer and a online business marketer it is important to expect fair transactions and render services that are promised to the buyer. Without business ethics being practiced online it makes all potential customers skeptical, with good reason online and thus less likely to trust any online service.
Nobody wants to be left high and dry after paying for a service up front only to realize that the person whom promised certain services take the money and run. This is why an important part of The Ethical Aspects of Business Marketing is to get paid when the service is complete. In case of any misunderstandings or disagreements that may lead to lending services and not receiving compensation it is a good idea to have some sort of a contract signed by participants.
An essential part The Ethical Aspects of Business Marketing is contracts. This way both the consumer and the business person can both get what they expect without any misleading or questionable deeds. Basically, both people who are part of the transaction sign which means that each legally must abide to the terms that are agreed upon. The person lending the services get their money while the people paying for it get what they wanted without any controversy or unpleasant surprises.
Online web design and other services offered are important to any business owner or web designer. The Ethical Aspects of Business Marketing are integral to this notion, without any trust between clients and businesses, nobody benefits.
Business – How Marketing Can Help You Avoid Costly Mistakes
If you’re thinking of starting up a new business there are many things you need to think about. One of the most important is marketing and I do not mean advertising or selling a product. Marketing is far bigger than this. It is a strategic process that involves many elements.
Marketing should actually be applied before you even set up business. The first and most critical component of the marketing process is market research. The research function can help you determine whether your business idea is a potentially profitable one. Many people who start a business do so because they assume they have a good idea that will work. However, this is often based on an assumption rather than solid research. If you approach your business this way then you are most likely to fail.
Before starting a business you must identify that the market you are entering has a specific need or problem and that they are willing to pay for a solution. This needs to be identified first. With this information you can also think of ways of coming up with a product or service that can provide a solution to the markets problem.
Another important consideration you need to think about is the strength of your competition. Many people think that if a market has too many competitors it is not worth entering into. It would be wrong to assume this because this can be a good sign that the market is a profitable one and is big enough to enable more businesses to compete in it. With market research you can determine if you have the resources to compete with the top businesses. If they are well established with a high share of the market then, you may have to look at other markets or find a gap in the market that is not being served by your competitors.
As a start-up business it will be very challenging to compete head on with an established competitor. That is why you must differentiate how you sell the product or service. This could be the price, the customer support you provide or focus on a particular benefit that is not being provided by your competitors.
Why Does Your Business Need a Good Marketing Plan?
A marketing plan is a written document that details the necessary actions to achieve one or more marketing objectives. It is meant to be a structured way of dealing with marketing issues, not a random collection of incomprehensible bits and pieces. It should be a key component of a business plan and is essential to planning the overall direction that you want your business to take. A marketing plan is not something that you write and then forget. It needs to be followed, monitored and updated. You want to regularly evaluate a your plan to make sure you are reaching the goals you set.
Marketing plan objectives are typically on the level of sales, profit, return on investment or, for larger businesses, market share. Marketing is a function of business and has many dimensions, including market research, customer service, advertising, targeting, packaging, pricing, e-marketing, and others. Marketing plans, even those created within a small company, can vary in scope, format, length, and level of detail they do however typically include similar types of information.
Developing a good marketing plan is essential to the success of any business because you need to get everyone focused on the same issues and that’s what your plan should do. You need to customize your plan to suit your business and its objectives. It needs to be simple and to the point. In it you want to state your marketing objectives and do so in a way that your goals are very clear for everyone that might be involved with accomplishing the plan itself. Your marketing strategy needs to be clearly defined. It’s your plan of action for achieving each of your goals.
Marketing Actions are the tactics you plan to use to give your plan a life of its own. Developing a solid marketing strategy is the foundation of a well-written marketing plan and must be carefully considered before committing to it.
While a marketing plan contains a list of actions, If it does not have a sound strategic foundation it is of little use. The objectives in your marketing plan need to state just where the company intends to be; at some specific time in the future. The marketing objectives must usually be based, above all, on the organization’s financial objectives. If the marketing plan is to work, every exception to it must be questioned. Before you deviate from your plan you need to ask why you should do so. During the course of the year the lessons learned need to be documented so that they can be incorporated into the next year’s plan.
A marketing plan for a small business typically includes descriptions of direct competitors that are marketing similar products. What the level of demand for the product or service is. A description of the product or service, including special features. What your marketing budget is, including the advertising and promotional plan. A description of the business location, including the advantages and disadvantages of your location. And what your pricing strategy is going to be. A marketing plan is, after all, a structured way of dealing with marketing issues, not a random collection of incomprehensible bits and pieces.
This kind of balanced view is important to show risks are being recognized. Like a business plan, a marketing plan is an essential guide. Some business owners don’t understand the value of a good plan. Every start-up venture and existing business needs a business plan, yet many entrepreneurs don’t realize a marketing plan is equally vital to your business success. A marketing plan is required if you want your business to become a household name. It plan provides structure to the marketing efforts of your business.
